Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a daughter, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
Deepika announced the news in a joint Instagram post on Saturday, sharing an image featuring a child’s feet along with the names of the couple and their elder daughter, Dua.
The post was dated Sept 19, 2026, Hindustan Times reported.
The couple married in a private ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, in November 2018 and welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, in September 2024.
In April, the couple announced they were expecting again with an Instagram post showing Dua holding a positive pregnancy test, Hindustan Times reported.
The couple later shared photographs from their pregnancy photoshoot as they prepared for the arrival of their second child.
Deepika has previously spoken about how motherhood changed her outlook and pushed her beyond her comfort zone.
She said motherhood had made her more patient and emotionally mature, while also pushing her to interact with other parents and take part in her daughter's playschool activities.
On the work front, Deepika is set to appear alongside Shah Rukh Khan in King, directed by Siddharth Anand. She is also due to star with Allu Arjun in Atlee's upcoming science-fiction film Raaka, Hindustan Times reported.
Ranveer was last seen in Dhurandhar: The Revenge and is preparing for Pralay, a post-apocalyptic thriller currently in production.
