Salman Khan found himself surrounded by a crowd of fans and photographers after a Ganesh Chaturthi visit, prompting the Bollywood star to fold his hands and ask people to make way.
The actor had visited politician Ashish Shelar’s residence to offer prayers when a large crowd gathered around him as he was leaving, Hindustan Times reports.
A video shared by a paparazzo shows Salman emerging from the residence with a tilak on his forehead and making his way through the crowd towards his car.
As fans and photographers blocked his path, the actor gestured for them to step back before folding his hands and asking them to clear the way.
His security personnel struggled to contain the crowd as Salman continued towards his vehicle.
Amid the commotion, a child approached the actor and reached out to shake his hand. When a member of Salman’s security detail appeared to push the child back, the actor intervened.
Salman stopped to shake the child’s hand before helping him move away from the crowd and then continuing towards his car.
The visit was the latest of Salman’s appearances during this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
He earlier joined celebrations at the Ambani family’s residence and attended the Ganpati Visarjan at his brother Sohail Khan’s home.
During the latter, Salman was seen performing aarti before his sister Arpita Khan Sharma pointed out that he was moving the plate anti-clockwise and showed him the correct direction.
Salman is currently hosting “Bigg Boss 20”.
He is also set to star in Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming action thriller, tentatively titled “SVC63”, alongside Nayanthara. The Dil Raju production is scheduled for release around Eid 2027.
